Following years of consistently working to implement initiatives to improve the sustainability of operations, Andamanda was proud to become the first tourism operation in Thailand to officially become carbon neutral.

Using the guidelines from the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, an initiative facilitated by the World Resource Institute and World Business Council For Sustainable Development, Andamanda’s activities have been measured and quantified including:

  • Direct emissions resulting from activities in our control such as burning fuels in the kitchens, wastewater treatment and transport.
  • Indirect emissions that are outside our control such as electricity purchased.

International Lifeguard Training Program (ILTP) is the best global standard in term of Water safety and Rescue. Key elements are:

Our Safety System

OHSAS 18001, Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series, is a British Standard for occupational health and safety management systems. Compliance with it enabled organizations to demonstrate that they had a system in place for occupational health and safety.
